PADNOS is a full-service recycling company handling paper, plastic, metals and electronic recycling. We tailor recycling programs for consumer and industrial clients across the United States and reward team members with a comprehensive benefits package.

The Manufacturing Machine Operator will safely operate hi-lo, loader, forklift, sweeper and other equipment in our Wyoming, MI metals plant, following a 7:00pm–7:00am rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Six months operating small equipment experience preferred
• Equipment operation and preventative maintenance knowledge
• Loader operator experience preferred
• HiLo experience required
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Accuracy in operation and attention to detail

Responsabilités

• Safely operate hi-lo, loader, forklift, sweeper and other equipment to load, unload, grade, inspect, and transport materials
• Troubleshoot and report malfunctions; perform basic maintenance and inspections
• Prepare and complete required paperwork and reports
• Distinguish between material grades and types using standard tests
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in clean, safe condition

Environment for Manufacturing Machine Operator:

This position is in our Wyoming location focused on metals. The manufacturing machine operator will be working with multiple balers to bale metals. It is often loud instead the plant due to machinery. PPE is required such as hard hat, safety glasses, high vis, steel toed shoes, and gloves when needed. This role is inside all day in a plant that is hard to regulate the temperature (it can be hot or cold depending on weather outside).

Manufacturing Machine Operator / Equipment Operator Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Machine Operatoroperatorisresponsible for safely operating equipment such as hi-lo, loader, forklift, sweeper and/or small loader to assist in loading, unloading, grading, inspecting, buying and transportation of materials.

Mechanical experience is a plus as the machines do break down and it is helpful to do what we can without calling maintenance.

• Distinguish between numerous grades and types of materials using basic identification tests according to company standards
• Perform required bore, during and after-operation user maintenance
• Monitor equipment, troubleshoot and/or notify management of any malfunctions that occur
• Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you in excellent condition
• Prepare various documents and reports
• Troubleshoot and mechanical diagnosis to identify repair needs such as motors, gearboxes, augers, pulleys, conveyors, and more.
• Prepare and complete required paperwork

Manufacturing Machine Operator / Equipment Operator Qualifications:

• Six months operating small equipment experience preferred(hilo, loader, forklift, scissor lift)
• Equipment operation andpreventativemaintenance knowledge (conveyors, pulleys, etc)
• Loader operator experience preferred
• Hilo experience required
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Accuracy in operationand attention to detail
