Position: Line Cook

A Line Cook is an hourly, non-exempt team member who reports directly to the Executive Chef. The role involves providing quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials, maintaining organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment.

Requirements
  • Demonstrate solid knowledge of the menu, recipes, and ingredients.
  • Quickly learn new recipes, techniques, and menu updates.
  • Follow recipes for consistency.
  • Answer guest questions regarding menu items.
  • Assist in food cost management through proper inventory rotation.
  • Follow prep sheets to ensure proper portions and minimize waste.
  • Maintain knowledge of property layouts, table setups, and service standards.
  • Ensure all menu items meet quality standards in appearance, taste, and presentation.
  • Work efficiently under physical and mental demands, multitasking effectively.
  • Adhere to sanitation and health regulations and company standards.
  • Coordinate with chefs on assignments and operational changes.
  • Keep workstations clean and organized throughout shifts.
