The restaurant group successfully restored the identity and operational excellence of iconic Italian restaurant brands like Buca di Beppo and Bertucci's. The Bartender is responsible for the preparation and service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and menu items to guests, courteously and efficiently, in accordance with company standards. They assist in maintaining the bar area equipment via opening and closing checklists. The role involves embodying a philosophy aligned with the company culture, serving as a guide to all staff members.

Requirements:

  • Ensure every point of contact with the guest meets or exceeds expectations, creating a lasting impression to drive repeat business.
  • Create a high-energy environment that promotes maximum engagement and enjoyment for guests and staff.
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members, fostering an open and respectful work environment.
  • Model and execute company practices, creating a positive environment for guests and staff alike.
  • Make sound, effective decisions that benefit guests and the team.
  • Meet the minimum age requirement for serving alcohol.
  • Provide prompt, friendly service according to company guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations, including checking IDs and preventing service to intoxicated guests.
  • Maintain knowledge of all alcoholic and non-alcoholic menu items, garnishes, glassware, and daily specials.
  • Adhere to all policies regarding safety, accidents, and incidents.
  • Prepare guest checks, process payments, and handle cash and credit card transactions securely.

Additional Info: Two years of experience and/or training in mixology, liquor, and food service, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
