Job summary

WSP in Creve Coeur, MO is seeking an Early Career Mining Engineer to join our Earth & Environment Team. You’ll support mining engineering design, modeling and sequencing on diverse projects, operating under supervision within collaborative teams.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering, 0–1 year of related experience, strong report writing and presentation skills, and the ability to travel internationally to remote sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• 0 to 1 years of relevant post-education experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel internationally and to remote project locations.
• Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products.
• Ability to work in the United States immediately.

Responsibilities

• Perform strategic modeling, design and analyses duties using mine design software.
