Job summary

William Charles Construction seeks a Bridges & Structures Superintendent for project work across KY and IN, including Louisville, New Albany, and Indianapolis areas. You will lead field operations on bridge and structure packages, manage subcontractors, review scopes with PM, and ensure work aligns with plans, schedule, and safety standards.

The role requires a minimum GED/HS diploma and at least 5 years as a Civil Construction Superintendent focused on bridges and structures.

Qualifications

• Minimum GED or High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Construction Superintendent with a focus on bridges and structures.

Responsibilities

• Attend all required pre job meeting(s).
• Review the scope of each project with the Project Manager and Area Manager prior to beginning work.
• Receive and review all union contracts prior to union pre jobs.
• Set up job site prior to the start of the project.
• Review and understand cost codes prior to starting work.
• Coordinate all subcontractor operations and supervise all on-site employees.
