Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in ironworking or completion of an apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and other instructions.
• Unload and stack prefabricated iron and steel.
• Signal crane operators for positioning materials.
• Use tools to cut, bend, and weld structural iron and steel.
• Align structural materials using tools and equipment.
• Connect iron and steel with bolts, wire, or welds.
• Install metal decking.
