The ideal candidate should have a High School diploma or GED and 2-3 years of experience in traffic control. Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $29.00 hourly.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience directing traffic and conducting vehicle inspections.
• Full range of physical mobility and good health.
• In-depth knowledge of Hampton Roads interstate and local roadways.

Responsibilities

• Monitor work of Operator Bridge Tunnel contractors for quality control.
• Participate in the candidate selection process.
• Serve as first-line supervisor for personnel issues.
