Jacobs seeks an experienced Transportation Project Manager to lead bridge and transportation infrastructure projects across Michigan and Ohio, partnering with public-sector clients on impactful programs.

As a key member of the Transportation team, you''ll oversee multidisciplinary project delivery, mentor staff, build client relationships, and drive growth in the Midwest while balancing technical leadership with business development in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license in MI or OH or ability to obtain via comity.
• Experience managing transportation infrastructure projects (bridges/structures).
• Proven success leading project teams, budgets, schedules, and client expectations.
• Experience with state/local transportation agencies (DOT).
• Strong knowledge of bridge design and AASHTO LRFD specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage transportation and bridge infrastructure projects from pursuit through delivery.
• Lead project teams to deliver quality work on schedule and within budget.
• Develop scopes, budgets, work plans, contracts, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subconsultants across all project phases.
• Serve as trusted advisor to state DOTs, counties, and municipalities.
• Build and maintain client relationships; pursue new opportunities.
• Support proposal development, interviews, and business development.
• Mentor and develop project engineers and technical staff.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements and DOT standards.
