Job summary

HDR is seeking a Bridges and Structures Section Manager to lead and grow our structures team in Pennsylvania. The role includes managing staff, delivering project submissions, supporting business development, and ensuring project profitability and quality.

You will act as a Project Manager or Project Engineer on large infrastructure projects and mentor staff across teams. Responsibilities include coordinating workload, leading design teams, performing bridge analysis, and maintaining client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Professional registration may be required.
• 7+ years experience in bridge/structural design; strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Experience with client management, proposals, and business development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Bridges and Structures group and manage staff performance and project profitability.
• Lead multi-discipled transportation design teams as PM/PE for local and workshare projects.
• Perform bridge design tasks, load ratings, and quality control reviews with a proven technical leadership background.
• Develop client relationships and lead business development efforts and proposals.
