The role emphasizes accuracy, planning, safety, and documentation across plans and specifications. The position involves budgeting, scheduling, permit acquisition, RFIs, change orders, subcontractor invoices, and ensuring quality materials, with extensive travel within the Southwest Virginia

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Measure, report and forecast accurate cost and revenue dollars and quantities.
• Fully review contract documents, drawings and specifications.
• Assist Pre-Construction Services/PM in defining project budget and cost codes.
• Prepare Initial Budget Adjustments for PM review prior to start of work.
• Ensure the acquisition of permits, through appropriate channels, as required.
• Maintain and update RFI Log, Change Order Log, and Submittal Log.
• Maintain and update the Materials Book – C25s/Certs/Etc.
• Draft and submit Change Orders per PM approval.
• Draft and submit RFIs per PM approval.
• First level approval of subcontractor invoices for PM final approval.

Education
