Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial company, is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to perform structural repairs and upkeep on highways and bridges. You will handle concrete, steel, welding, joints, carpentry and painting, while ensuring safe MOT controls and efficient operation.

The role requires comfort working at heights, in water, and with heavy equipment, plus valid driver’s license and a readiness for emergency rotations.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of construction, maintenance and repair experience is preferred.
• CDL, DOT certifications, Electrical and Welding certifications are highly desirable.
• Valid Driver’s license with acceptable driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair highway structures including concrete, structural steel, welding, expansion joints, carpentry and painting.
• Create safe MOT control by setup and removal of traffic controls devices.
• Work from heights in bucket trucks, snooper trucks, scaffolding and ladders.
• Repair/maintain slopes, berms, drains and related elements using hand or power tools.
• Control vegetation and maintain appearance using lawn equipment and trimmers.
• Maintain bridge fender systems, navigational signs and lighting.
• Work in and around water and from boats as needed.
• Transport crew and equipment to sites using large trucks and trailers.
• Be available for emergency rotations including evenings, weekends and holidays.
