Job summary

Shive-Hattery is seeking a Structural Engineer- Bridge with 4+ years of experience to design transportation structures from concept through completion. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and technicians on public infrastructure projects locally and nationally.

You’ll oversee shop drawing reviews, lead bridge and civil structures work, and coordinate with multi-discipline teams while engaging with clients. A PE license in Iowa or eligibility within 12 months is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 4+ years in Structural Engineering with bridge experience.
• Professional Engineer license in Iowa or eligibility to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities
