Job summary

Dewberry seeks a Structural Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience to join our team across Eastern, Central, or Western PA locations. You will work on design of bridges and transportation structures within a collaborative, growth-minded environment.

The role includes development of proposals, contract plans, estimates, specifications, and construction support, with opportunities to apply latest technology and advance professionally while working with a team of talented engineers.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering; MS in Structural Engineering preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience with PennDOT and/or PA Turnpike Commission.
• FE exam required; PE preferred.
• Proficiency using CADD (MicroStation preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Experience with transportation design including bridges, retaining walls, culverts, sign structures, and related plans and estimates.
• A clean driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform structure related design for transportation projects.
• Assigns tasks to and coordinates with entry-level engineers, technicians or administrative staff.
• Assists in determining schedule and budget requirements.
