Job summary

Branch Civil is seeking a skilled Bridge and Structural Carpenter to construct, erect, and repair forms and structures for bridges, walls, decks, and concrete footings. The role involves using forms, rebar, and concrete with an emphasis on safety and accuracy on heavy civil projects.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of field experience, can read drawings and specifications, and work with limited supervision while following directions closely.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of related experience.
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings/project specs.
• Experience reading civil construction plans.
• Experience on large highway/bridge structures and related projects.
• Ability to work with fall protection and uneven surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Construct and dismantle concrete forms for bridges, culverts, walls.
• Prepare construction layouts from blueprints and instructions.
• Follow project instructions from supervisors and manage material handling.
• Set and tie steel rebar; pour and finish concrete.
• Load/unload materials; operate power tools and equipment as required.
