Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of various hand and power tools.
• Skilled in using tools and equipment in maintenance and repair work.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, including following oral/written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs all related tasks associated with the maintenance and repair of various highway structures and other roadway assets.
• Train new employees by providing guidance and technical assistance; assumes duties of supervisor in his/her absence as required to include completion of daily crew sheets.
• Operates and performs preventive maintenance on a variety of vehicles, mechanized equipment and power tools.
