Job summary

WSP is seeking a Full-Time Office Engineer for our Cincinnati, Ohio office to support the PM/CM team on the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor Project. You will manage office functions, review docs, and assist with project controls and submittals.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and at least 3 years of experience, with a focus on safety compliance and document control. A valid driver's license and willingness to work on site are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a directly related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and adherence to health, safety, and conduct policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide segmental office management of a construction management project
• Review Construction Materials Sampling and Certification Documentation for contract compliance
• Keep logs of contract documents
• Take meeting minutes
• Limited material test result data entry into Aashtoware Project
• Upload documents to project's construction management document control site
• Review BABA/Domestic Material compliance
• Perform engineering submittal review for compliance with contract documents
• Provide subject matter input to Request for Information (RFIs)
• Perform quantity calculations
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs

Primary project responsibilities will be on the $4.4B Brent Spence Bridge Corridor Project.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Office Engineering duties on large construction projects
• Experience with large project Quality Management
• Office Engineering experience with Ohio DOT or KY Transportation Cabinet construction projects
• Professional Engineer Licensure Preferred
