Job summary

WSP is seeking a Full-Time Office Engineer for our Cincinnati, Ohio office. Be involved in projects with our PM/CM Team on the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor Project and support office management on a major construction program.

Responsibilities include document control, logs, minutes, RFIs, quantity calculations, and submittal reviews to ensure contract compliance. A Bachelor's degree and 3 years’ experience, plus a valid driver’s license, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a directly related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by health, safety and harassment policies.

• Provide segmental office management of a construction management project.
• Review Construction Materials Sampling and Certification Documentation for contract compliance.
• Keep logs of contract documents.
• Take meeting minutes.
• Limited material test result data entry into Aashtoware Project.
• Upload documents to project's construction management document control site.
• Review BABA/Domestic Material compliance.
• Perform engineering submittal review for compliance with contract documents.
• Provide subject matter input to Request for Information (RFIs).
• Perform quantity calculations.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Primary project responsibilities will be on the $4.4B Brent Spence Bridge Corridor Project.

Your Impact

• Provide segmental office management of a construction management project
• Review Construction Materials Sampling and Certification Documentation for contract compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Office Engineering duties on large construction projects

• Office Engineering experience with Ohio DOT or KY Transportation Cabinet construction projects
• Professional Engineer Licensure Preferred
