Job summary

The LiRo Group seeks a qualified Construction Office Engineer for NYCDOT bridge projects, NICET Level III/IV preferred, based in Bronx and Brooklyn, NY. Responsibilities include document control, contractor payments, change orders, and maintaining logs, with NYCDOT/NYSDOT experience highly valued.

Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 5 years in highway/bridge office engineering, a related engineering degree, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Five years minimum highway/bridge office engineer experience.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Recent NYCDOT/NYSDOT project experience required.
• NICET certification (III/IV) a plus.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to coordinate with clients, designers, contractors, and field staff.

Responsibilities

• Document control.
• Contractor payment processing.
• Change order processing.
• Maintain detailed project files/logs.
• Review daily inspector reports.
