Job summary

KPFF Seattle’s Civil/Structural Team seeks a seasoned structural engineer to manage projects, lead design discussions, and deliver plans, specifications, and reports. You will supervise draftspersons, ensure QA/QC of outputs, and conduct field inspections on bridge and heavy-civil projects, contributing to a collaborative, client-focused practice.

Qualifications

• BSCE with emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
• 7+ years of experience in structural engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform project management tasks including budgets and schedules, and client liaison.
• Lead technical and project discussions with the design team.
• Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports.
• Oversee quality control/assurance of deliverables.
• Perform structural design and analysis; instruct draftspersons on drawings.
• Conduct inspections/field work.
