Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer for advanced design of bridges and marine structures. The role focuses on quality control, timely delivery, and coordination across disciplines.

The candidate should hold a PE license, have 10+ years of design experience on DOT projects, and be proficient with STAAD, AutoCAD, and MicroStation. Strong client interaction is expected throughout projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE registration required.
• 10+ years of design experience of bridge or marine structures.
• Experience with STAAD (required) and AutoCAD/MicroStation.
• VDOT or DOT project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans, specifications, and inspection reports as needed.
• Design bridges and marine structures including culverts and retaining walls.
• Maintain quality control and ensure projects are on time and within budget.
• Lead project tasks, coordinate and supervise team members.
• Interact with clients at staff and project management level.
