The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is seeking a Bridge Maintenance Worker to perform routine and emergency bridge repairs, including concrete and steel work, paints, and deck replacement. Work is conducted at the Bridge Maintenance Facility in Hannibal or Macon with supervision and safety-focused guidelines.
The role offers progression to career-ladder levels based on skills and performance, and requires CDL-related qualifications and medical clearances.
The bridge maintenance worker performs bridge maintenance and repair activities on bridges in the state highway system. Responsibilities are performed under general supervision.
This position is eligible for a temporary emergency operations adjustment of $3 to $6 per hour, depending on the area of operation, when handling winter/emergency operations activities.
