Job summary

F2 Finance LLC in Santa Monica is seeking a hands-on Credit Underwriting Support role to manage loan files from intake to closing and support the credit lead with underwriting and portfolio tasks.

You will own file mechanics, coordinate with brokers and counsel, and help drive timely closings while maintaining audit-ready documentation. A background in private lending and strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in private lending, hard money, residential bridge lending, mortgage operations, loan processing, or real estate finance.
• Direct experience closing loans is strongly preferred.
• Excellent tracking discipline across many files, deadlines, and counterparties.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication with brokers, borrowers, and vendors.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• File processing and closing coordination from intake through closing, building the credit package and tracking conditions.
• Underwriting support: spread borrower financials, prepare initial credit summaries, review property values and exit assumptions.
• Portfolio and operational support: pull data, update loan tape, prepare watchlist materials, assist with extensions and payoffs.
