Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist students with personal needs (toileting, dressing, etc.).
• Maintain ongoing communication and participate in planning meetings.
• Keep others informed of location at all times.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and school information; maintain service log.
• Follow assigned responsibilities within timelines and school policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Valid driver's license required.

Job Goal(s): The overall job goal of the Intervention Specialist is to work with a team of consultants to assist Local Educational Agencies in Van Buren County in providing individualized supports to maintain a safe, positive and effective environment for all students.

Qualifications:

Education :

High School diploma required.

Associates degree preferred.

Work Experience :

Previous experience working with children, particularly those with complex needs, is preferred.
