Job summary

HNTB is seeking an engineering assistant for bridge inspections in Harrisburg, PA. The ideal candidate will assist in inspecting highway bridges, prepare project reports, and perform load rating analyses. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering with relevant experience is required. Additional qualifications such as EIT certification and proficiency in AutoCAD are preferred. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 1 year of experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Knowledge of PennDOT Pub 238, Pub 100A, and BMS3 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the inspection of highway bridges throughout Pennsylvania.
• Prepare and modify project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Perform load rating analyses and assist engineering teams.
