Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an experienced Bridge Inspection Team Leader to head field inspections of bridges and transportation structures in the Trenton, NJ area. You will oversee inspection teams, evaluate structural conditions, and ensure NBIS, FHWA, and DOT requirements are met.

The role requires strong leadership, practice with steel and concrete bridges, and the ability to prepare detailed reports. Travel to project sites is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Experience performing bridge and structural inspections.
• Knowledge of NBIS and FHWA bridge inspection requirements.
• Experience inspecting steel and concrete bridges.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership and field-team coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead bridge inspection teams during routine, detailed, and in-depth inspections.
• Identify corrosion, cracking, deterioration, and other deficiencies.
• Prepare and review bridge inspection and condition assessment reports.
• Ensure inspections comply with NBIS, FHWA, NJDOT standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and transportation agencies.
