Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, an Indiana PE license (or ability to obtain within a year), and prior bridge/transportation inspection experience.

Bridge Inspection Project Manager - Construction - Base Salary to 120k/year - Indianapolis, IN

• Our client is a civil engineering firm providing engineering, inspection, design, and construction-related services for transportation infrastructure projects. They are seeking a Bridge Inspection Project Manager to manage bridge and small structure inspection projects throughout Indiana. This position may be based in Indianapolis or Lafayette, with hybrid options potentially available.

Responsibilities:

• Manage project budgets, schedules, and workloads for bridge and small structure inspection contracts
• Coordinate with internal project teams, clients, and other project stakeholders
• Perform field inspections of in-service bridges, culverts, and small structures throughout Indiana
• Review and approve bridge inspection reports and documentation
• Review and approve bridge load rating calculations
• Identify bridge and structural deficiencies and develop repair and maintenance recommendations
• Prepare cost estimates for recommended bridge and structural repairs
• Prioritize repair and maintenance recommendations based on inspection findings and structural conditions
• Assist with bridge design calculations and plan development as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
• Active Indiana Professional Engineer (PE) license
• INDOT Certified Bridge Inspection Team Leader certification or ability to obtain within 1 year
• Previous bridge or transportation engineering experience required
• Experience with bridge inspection, structural inspection, transportation infrastructure, or related bridge engineering work
• Ability to travel to bridge and culvert inspection sites throughout Indiana and meet company driving requirements

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 90k - 120k/year range
