Job summary

Josh Pros LLC in Princeton, NJ seeks a Civil Engineer to perform structural, visual and special bridge inspections and non-destructive testing. You will photograph bridge components, identify defects and prepare inspection reports, updating the National Bridge Inventory (NBI).

Responsibilities include drafting rehabilitation recommendations, uploading field notes to the asset management system, drafting sketches in MicroStation, and performing load ratings per AASHTO with LARS and PennDOT

Qualifications

B.S. in Civil Engineering is required.
Bridge inspection and load rating experience per AASHTO is required.
Experience with LARS and Box5/BoxLRFD is required.
Proficiency with MicroStation is required.
Experience with project scheduling and reporting is required.

Responsibilities

Perform structural, visual and special inspections and NDT of bridges.
Photograph bridge components and document defects.
Prepare bridge safety inspection reports and update the NBI.
Draft rehabilitation recommendations and QA/QC procedures.
Upload photos/field notes to asset management system and draft sketches in MicroStation.
Perform load ratings per AASHTO using LARS and PennDOT Box5/BoxLRFD.
