Job summary

GBA in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Bridge Inspection Intern to gain hands-on experience in inspection, report preparation, and load rating. Some travel will be required and you will learn about other transportation projects at GBA, including bridge, road, and traffic initiatives.

You will work with AssetWise, Excel-based load rating programs, Bluebeam and MicroStation, collaborating with industry experts and supporting high-quality project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Excel software is preferred.
• 2.7 GPA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in bridge inspection activities and data collection.
• Prepare inspection reports and assist with load rating tasks.
• Support learning across bridge, road, and traffic projects at GBA.
