Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead bridge and heavy civil construction north of Tampa Bay. Based in Florida or willing to relocate, you will run foremen and subcontractors, manage safety, schedule, and budget, and coordinate with FDOT inspectors and the owner's team on FDOT projects.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7+ years of bridge experience on heavy highway and bridge construction.
• Time as a superintendent running a bridge or interchange job.
• Working knowledge of FDOT contracts, specs and reporting.
• OSHA competent person.
• Clean driving record.
• Design build experience is a plus.
• Based in Tampa Bay or Central Florida, or ready to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Run daily field operations on bridge and highway work.
• Schedule foremen, crews and subcontractors.
• Set production goals and hold the crews to them.
• Plan the work with the project manager and engineers.
• Own jobsite safety and act as the OSHA competent person.
• Work directly with FDOT inspectors and the owner's team.
• Track quantities, production and field cost against budget.
• Keep daily reports and field documentation current.
• Coordinate material, equipment and deliveries.
