Qualifications

• 3-5 years verifiable carpentry experience preferred.
• Ability to climb and balance on scaffold/ladder.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must comply with all safety policies and procedures and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Measures distance and marks guidelines on working surface to prepare for laying down work.
• Prepares, builds, and installs wooden structures in line with prefabricated units to form bridges, drainage structures, walls, and additional structures.
• May assist with installation of awnings, metal decking for concrete slabs.
• Uses carpenter’s belt with carpentry hand tools, power tools, and other woodworking machinery.
