Job summary

Kokosing seeks Carpenters with experience in form work for bridges and structures to support heavy highway projects across the Northern VA/DC/MD area and Wallops Island, VA. Candidate should be able to read blueprints and set up forms for concrete pours, with fall protection in place.

The role requires carpentry training or bridge work experience, and familiarity with hand and power tools. Steel-toed boots and physical stamina are needed for field conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience in bridge work or Carpenter Training Program.
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches, or bridge plans.
• Skilled with hand and power tools and able to use level.

Responsibilities

• Constructs, erects, and repairs structures and forms.
• Sets up forms and supports for concrete pours.
• Assembles wood deck forms and chutes for pouring concrete.
• Erects scaffolding and ladders for work at height.
