Job summary

Bl Companies seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer to perform structural analysis and design for bridges and other transportation structures. You will prepare design reports, calculations, and drawings using CAD software, and conduct field bridge inspections in Warwick, RI.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil/Structural Engineering degree with 0–3 years of bridge-related experience and an EIT. Strong writing, communication, and collaboration skills are essential; DOT or transportation consultant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 0–3 years of experience in bridge design and/or bridge inspection.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation preferred.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
• Previous internships or other experience with DOTs, public works agencies, or transportation design consultants is a plus.

Job Location

Warwick Office – Warwick, RI 02888. The position may also be based in East Hartford, CT or Norwood, MA.
