Job summary

Parsons invites applications for the Summer 2027 Bridge Internship in Denver, CO. You will expand your civil/structural engineering skills with direct mentorship within a world-class team of infrastructure design experts.

As an intern, you’ll work on bridge projects, perform structural analysis modelling, and assist in producing calculations and drawings under supervision. Strong academics and software familiarity are valued.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in civil/structures program; at least two years completed.
• Undergrad civil engineering students nearing completion or grad students encouraged to apply.
• Prior coursework in structural analysis, steel or concrete design, geotechnical engineering preferred.
• GPA of 3.0+ desirable.
• Familiarity with structural software (SAP2000, LARSA, MIDAS) and design tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop professionally through the National intern program and leadership exposure.
• Work as a bridge engineer on medium to large projects.
• Assist in structural analysis modelling and engineering calculations.
• Support production of drawings under supervision of senior engineers.
• Assist in reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, and complex construction activities.
