Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Bridge Engineering Intern for Spring 2027 in our Miami, FL office. You will perform design calculations for bridges and civil structures, support senior engineers with reinforcement lists and take-offs, and complete technical training to develop your career in a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

You should be a junior with 90 hours toward a civil engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program by Summer 2027, and you will learn analysis software such as

Qualifications

• Must be a junior and have completed 90 hours toward a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
• Experience: prior experience working with a team in a professional setting.
• Ability to learn analysis software including MathCAD, Excel, and bridge modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform design calculations for bridges and civil structures.

• SPECIAL SKILLS: Ability to learn analysis software including MathCAD, Excel, and bridge modeling tools.

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
