American Structurepoint in South Bend, IN offers a Bridge Group summer internship where students work with designers, engineers and project managers on bridge projects from concept to final design.

As an intern you will develop bridge scoping reports, hydraulic design, 3D models using MicroStation/GEOPAK and AutoCAD, gaining hands-on experience across bridge replacements and roadway improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a civil-related engineering degree or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation to the office or project sites.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support bridge design projects with hydraulic modeling and reports.
• Assist in creating 3D models and deliverables with industry tools.
• Contribute to bridge replacements, rehabilitations, and roadway upgrades.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
