Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Bridge Intern to work with our bridge group in Columbus, OH. This position is expected to begin in Summer 2027 and will provide hands-on experience in bridge design, rating and inspection under supervision.

The internship is designed to build essential skills and support a smooth transition from student to professional, with duties that offer a broad learning experience in the field.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and must have completed at least one year of study.
• Candidates who have recently graduated and plan to continue with the Master’s degree are eligible to apply for these positions.
• Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.

• Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.
• Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study
