Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to work with our bridge group in Minneapolis, MN. This position is expected to begin in Summer 2027 and will provide hands-on experience within a leading infrastructure firm.

Interns gain a broad learning experience, performing duties designed to bridge academia and professional practice. Candidates should be enrolled in Civil Engineering and have completed at least one year of study, with U.S. Citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and has completed at least one year of study.
• Recent graduates planning to continue with a Master's in the same discipline are eligible.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.

Responsibilities

• Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills and help transition from student to professional.
• Duties will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within the field of study.
• Intern 1 – completion of first year of qualified study.
