Qualifications

What You'll Do

As a key member of the bridge design team, manage projects through all phases—conceptual planning, design, and construction oversight. Serve as the Engineer of Record, providing technical leadership and sealing final plans, specifications, and estimates for contract bidding. Coordinate across disciplines, conduct field visits, attend meetings, and maintain close collaboration with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. Mentor and support junior staff, review work, share knowledge, contribute to proposal development, project scoping, staffing plans, and represent the team at industry events to support business development.

In addition, participate in the development of proposals and staffing plans, and support client communications and project delivery.

What We're Looking For

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 5 to 8 years of experience in the design of transportation-related structures. BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university. Proficiency in MicroStation, PennDOT bridge design software, AASHTO codes, and structural analysis tools. Strong work ethic, solid communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively. Experience with PennDOT or PA Turnpike projects is highly desirable.
