Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Bridge Engineer in Coeur d’Alene, ID to join our Idaho Bridge Group.

You’ll apply advanced structural engineering methods to highway bridges, manage mid-sized projects, and mentor junior staff while delivering high‑quality designs for DOT and local agencies. You’ll work within an employee‑owned culture that emphasizes collaboration, clear communication, and delivering reliable, safe structures on projects for regional clients.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' bridge design experience.
• PE license (Professional Engineer) required.

Responsibilities

• Apply structural engineering techniques for DOT and local highway bridges and load ratings.
• Lead design efforts on bridge and related highway projects.
• Review work, assign tasks, and mentor junior engineers and EITs.
