GPI seeks a Bridge Engineer to join our Melville or Manhattan offices. Responsibilities include analyzing and designing bridges, ensuring NYSDOT drafting standards, and coordinating with Project Managers and agencies.
The candidate will participate in bridge inspections, mentor junior staff, and contribute to multiple concurrent projects. Required: BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, EIT, 5–10 years of bridge experience, and clean driving record.

GPI seeks a Bridge Engineer familiar with the design of bridges for NYSDOT, PANYNJ, NYCDOT, or other NY agencies to join our team in our Melville or Manhattan offices. We seek someone with a good work ethic, a desire to learn, the willingness to work collectively with our team, and the ability to work on multiple concurrent projects.

Perform structural analysis and design of new and rehabilitated bridges
Prepare and ensure documents meet NYSDOT drafting standards, contract requirements, and QA/QC procedures
Participate in or lead bridge inspections
Work independently on assigned tasks while coordinating with Project Managers, Designers, and various agencies
Mentor junior engineers and review their work for accuracy and completeness
