Fuss & O'Neill in Boston seeks an experienced Bridge Engineer to lead design and delivery of safe, resilient bridges across New England. This hybrid role blends office collaboration with flexible remote work while advancing meaningful infrastructure projects.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure projects meet budgets, schedules, and QC/QA standards. A 5+ year background in bridge design and familiarity with regional DOTs are ideal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in bridge engineering and design.
• Familiarity with regional DOTs (NHDOT, MaineDOT, MassDOT, VTrans) strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation desirable.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute bridge design efforts on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and support staff to develop design calculations and bridge plans.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in design tasks and project development.
• Ensure compliance with project budgets, schedules, and all QC/QA protocols.
• Perform site visits and bridge inspections during design and construction phases as needed.

Fuss & O'Neill is looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Bridge Engineer to join our growing Transportation team. As a key contributor, you will play a central role in designing and delivering safe, resilient, and efficient bridge structures that serve communities across New England.

The base salary range for this role is indicated in the posting. This range reflects the company's good faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting.
