Job summary

TxDOT's Bridge Division is seeking a proactive Business Services Coordinator I or II to serve as the go-to expert for budget management, legislative implementation, purchasing, consultant contract administration, and asset oversight. You will help ensure operations run smoothly and will coordinate across divisions and with outside agencies.

The role offers onsite work at Stassney HQ in Austin, with day shifts and a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; relevant work experience may substitute for degree.
• 4 years of management, business operations and/or staff support functions (Coordinator I).
• 5 years of management, business operations and/or staff support functions (Coordinator II).

Responsibilities

• Oversees budget management, asset management, and contract administration.
• Coordinates purchasing, warehousing and administrative support functions; monitors budgets.
• Prepares operational and financial reports; analyzes trends and makes recommendations.
• Coordinates responses to legislative direction and program improvements.
