Job summary

STV in Pennsylvania is looking for a Structural Design Engineer to work on bridge design and rehabilitation in locations including Douglassville, Harrisburg, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh. The role involves analyzing existing structures and designing new ones.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Experience with specification writing and cost estimating.
• Mentoring and QA experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design & analysis of new and existing bridges and transportation facilities.
• Participate on Design Build Projects and pursuits.
• Conduct bridge load ratings using LRFR and LFD.

Skills

Knowledge of PennDOT, PA Turnpike, and related authority projects

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Experience with MicroStation and STAAD
