Job summary

STV is seeking a Structural Bridge Engineering Specialist for its Transportation team based in Pennsylvania. You will tackle complex structural challenges and apply your expertise to design and rehabilitate bridges, impacting community transportation systems.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, with 2-5 years of bridge design experience and proficiency in relevant tools. Join a collaborative team working on meaningful infrastructure projects across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant bridge design experience.
• EIT required (PE preferred); familiarity with PennDOT or Turnpike projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze new and existing bridges including rehabilitation.
• Conduct Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) for projects.
• Perform bridge load ratings using LRFR and LFD methodologies.

Strong written and verbal communication skills
