DeKalb Health in Shelton, CT is looking for an experienced Bridge Design Engineer with 5-15 years in structural design. You will work on various transportation infrastructure projects, including designing and rehabilitating bridges for state and local agencies.

Your responsibilities will include performing structural analysis, preparing design plans, and coordinating with teams to ensure project success. A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required, along with strong communication skills and familiarity with AASHTO standards.

Qualifications

• 5–15 years of bridge/structural design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in CT preferred.
• Experience preparing bridge design plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for bridge structures.
• Prepare design plans, calculations, and specifications.
