Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Bridge Design Engineer to join the Northwest Bridge Team in the Bellevue or Spokane area. You will work on transportation projects across the Northwest and nationwide, contributing to design, calculations, drawings, specifications, and field support.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with teams and subcontractors, and engage in business development and proposal efforts as needed. The role offers a hybrid work model and opportunity for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• WA PE license or ability to obtain within one year.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation structure design and construction projects from concept to final design.
• Develop structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Inspect sites and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
