Job summary

The DC Army National Guard is seeking a Bridge Crewmember to provide bridge and rafting support for dry and wet gap crossing operations. Duties include operating bridge-related vehicles, preparing sites, and assisting in bridging projects.

You will learn bridge construction and engineering skills during training and earn a regular paycheck while gaining valuable military and construction experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet standards.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.

Responsibilities

• As Bridge Crewmember, provide bridge and rafting support for dry and wet gap crossing operations.
• Operate bridge truck and light vehicles, prepare bridge sites, assist in rafting operations, and assemble military bridges.
• Assemble and maintain military fixed and float bridges.
