Camp.us is seeking a Crane Operator to support bridge construction projects in the Springfield, KY area. The role involves safely operating lattice boom, hydraulic, crawler, and other cranes to lift and place structural steel, precast concrete, and related materials on active sites.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of crane experience, the ability to read lift plans and load charts, and a strong safety focus. Travel to multiple project sites and overtime may be required.

Formación

• Three years crane operating experience preferred.
• Ability to read crane load charts, operator manuals, lift plans, and site drawings.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and work overtime or variable shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Operate cranes safely and efficiently during bridge construction and related heavy-civil operations.
• Review lift plans, load charts, rigging configurations, and crane setup conditions before picks.
• Perform daily crane inspections and report deficiencies or unsafe conditions to supervision.
• Coordinate with riggers, signal persons, pile-driving crews, steel erectors, concrete crews, and field leadership for safe loads.
• Lift, move, and place bridge beams, girders, rebar cages, forms, and other materials.
• Follow hand signals, radio communications, and site procedures while maintaining awareness of hazards.
• Set up and operate cranes on barges, bridge decks, or uneven/ confined work sites.
• Maintain load control and stop work if conditions are unsafe; assist with assembly/disassembly and maintenance.
• Comply with OSHA requirements and company safety policies.
