Prudent Engineering, LLP seeks a Construction Resident Engineer (Level IV) with bridge experience for Syracuse, NY, starting July 2026. You will oversee and inspect bridge construction at multiple stages, ensuring compliance with plans, specs, and regulations. Strong NYSDOT background preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in bridge construction or civil engineering.
• NICET IV certification or equivalent.
• Prior NYSDOT inspection experience or similar bridge projects.
• ACI Certification and OSHA 10 required/preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to Jamestown area sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and inspect bridge construction projects at various stages to ensure compliance with plans and specs.
• Coordinate with contractors, project teams, and inspectors to maintain schedule and quality.
• Administer project documentation and compliance with safety procedures.
• Represent the firm in field activities and client interactions.
