LaBella Associates seeks an experienced inspector to administer a bridge replacement project for the Onondaga County Department of Transportation, including field inspections and record-keeping. You will interpret plans, ensure code compliance, and maintain strong client relationships with project teams.

Proficiency with APPIA, Bluebeam, and MS Office is required, along with NICET Level IV or NYSDOT-equivalent experience and OSHA 10 training. Travel and reliable transportation are expected.

Qualifications

• NICET Level IV Certification or NYSDOT equivalent experience.
• OSHA 10-hour training completed.
• Strong field inspection experience on transportation projects.
• Ability to interpret contract plans and specifications.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook/Word/Excel, Bluebeam, and APPIA.

Responsibilities

• Administer a bridge replacement project and conduct construction field inspections.
• Interpret plans and specifications; maintain project records and reporting.
• Establish and maintain client relationships with project managers and engineers.
• Prepare inspection reports and ensure compliance with codes.
• Monitor safety, progress, and field operations to ensure safe work zones.
• Utilize APPIA to maintain detailed inspection records, photos, notes, and reports.
